Ordering & Dispatch
Ordering & Dispatch
All orders are posted 1st class, however please allow up to 7 working days from ordering for us to dispatch your goods. First class post is used for our standard delivery option and we cannot guarantee the delivery day with this. Special delivery is guaranteed next day delivery and must be signed for. Orders made on Friday PM and weekends will be posted on Monday, with the exception of Christmas orders. If a Saturday delivery is required please contact us for a delivery charge quote. We will do our best to fulfil all requests according to product availability.
Non-UK Mainland Delivery Charges
Please note the standard delivery charge of £3.95 covers UK mainland only. For deliveries to other countries please contact The Chocolate House 1657 for a delivery price.
Free delivery is available to UK orders only and available until December 12th 2011 after which time shall revert back to £3.95
Delivery
Where possible we would advise taking delivery at a business premises where someone will be available throughout working hours. It is your duty to ensure that your requested delivery address is suitable for either yourself or your gift recipient to accept an order. We cannot accept responsibility for addresses provided incorrectly. Unless you are contacted by our sales team, your goods will be despatched as soon as possible. Please note that we cannot track the exact location of your order during the day and will only be notified by the couriers if there is a problem. We cannot estimate a delivery time. If your require your order to go to multiple addresses please contact The Chocolate House 1657 to advise of destinations.
Complaints Procedure
It is your responsibility to check your order carefully immediately on receipt of goods. In the unlikely event of goods being unsatisfactory, damaged or incomplete you should accept delivery and contact us within 2 working days.
Nuts
All products are produced in nut environments and could possibly be contaminated with nuts.
Corporate Gifts
If you wish to place a corporate order to send the same goods to a large number of recipients please call for a special quotation.
